Only a few days after we discovered Volkmar, we found five little, fluffy meatballs in our nest. Welcome to Friedhelm, Irmgard, Elfriede, and Günter!
Mother bird has been busy since then to feed five little beaks. She is very careful and protective, so that all our pictures are blurry for fear of disturbing the parents and causing them to abandon their babies. We still wanted to give you an update on our bird family, even though it's a blurry one.
The birds appear to be Carolina Wrens.
