To Atlanta

The trip to Atlanta was uneventful, except for some last-minute excitement in the Pensacola airport. It was so warm in Pensacola that we forgot our coats in the back seat of our car, which we had parked at the house of some friends who live near the airport. We didn't notice the coats were missing until we were almost all the way through the security line a few minutes before the flight was scheduled to depart. We called Kara and asked her to get them from the car, drive quickly over to the airport, and bring them to us in the security line. I waited outside the security area, while Kristin stood at the gate telling the airline staff to wait for me. The coats arrived in time for me to rush through the security line and get on the plane just before the doors closed. Thank you, Kara!

Next stop, Vienna.
