The 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag follows the 1.Weihnachtsfeiertag, when, as you remember, we visited my grandparents after baking cheese cake with an East German hand mixer.
Since the Christmas market at the Ku'damm was one of our favorites, we returned the last day it was open.

The new and the old Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche.
The old one was bombed in WWII and remains this way as a memorial. The new one has thousands of little blue windows, which looks very beautiful when the sun is shining though.
