1. Weihnachtsfeiertag

December 25th is the 1st Christmas holiday after Christmas Eve here in Germany. The Christmas holidays are a time to visit extended family and to exchange small gifts. We went to see my grandparents. While I was baking for Kaffeetrinken this afternoon, Mark discovered the orange East German (DDR) mixer that is still doing its job faithfully.

Here we are on the way to Friedensau where my grandparents live.

Friedensau is the German Adventist seminary. Years ago my grandfather was principal here.
